We are always looking for volunteers to help marshal the course during our event.

We will offer a free pairs entry to any charity, group, organisation or running club who can fill one of our  marshaling stations for the event. This means we will give you a marshal station on each day, and it will be your responsibility to have a marshal in place for the whole event.

You can set up a tent or gazebo, put your charity or running club banners or flags or lights up, play music, you can do as much or as little are you want, but you have to find enough volunteers or team members who are happy to cover that position for the duration of each day.

It would be your responsibility to work out the shifts and rotas each volunteer would work, and we would let you run the marshal station as you see fit (FYI Only we recommend 4 hour shifts).

The only condition we have is that you must have somebody in place, wearing a yellow high-visibility jacket (which we will provide) until all the runners have passed through your marshal point

In return, we will provide free pairs entry for each marshal point, team for the event  We will also provide free camping for up-to 8 volunteers and also we will provide 8 free meal tickets (drinks not included) so volunteers can have a meal before or after their stint.

Each volunteer station will be provided with an info pack containing exact details of what to do in an emergency, and given the telephone numbers of our medical teams etc. We will also provide a 15 minute period every 4 hours where we will transport one person to and from their volunteer station.

If you would like more information, have any questions, or would like to take advantage of our free entry offer, please email contact@run101.co.uk.

Alternatively, if you’d just like to volunteer because you’re a great person, we’d love you to join us – we can offer you free entry to another Run101 event in the future as a thank you, just drop us a line!
